Well that was... strange

Yeah, Harry Potter came out today. I've finished it.

God it was WEIRD.

It started well I suppose. Got a bit shaky in the middle, went very wobbly and then a nice generic happy ending.
Still, I suppose it was worth the read.

SnapexLily love (almost) = awesomeness
Also, yay for Neville hero-ness. Always knew he'd come through in the end.

I still like the Prisoner of Azkaban the best, but maybe that's just me.

I'd hate to think what the movie'll look like...

It must be quite fan service-like I imagine. A few years ago I heard Rowling say that one of the three kids is going to die. And here we go: none of them died! (as far as I know; I don't plan to read the book, though I read the first six... I guess...

) Just to keep the Harry-loving little weeper-screamer swarm of 8-16 year old female specimen happy...

Technically Harry did die at one point. But she cheated and allowed him to come back. It was all a bit anti-climax really. Especially since he pretty much killed Voldemort by shouting at him.
